ASEAN is the region rich and diverse in histories, religions, languages, cultures, economy and politics. In the 21 century, the region is now facing rapid and profound transformations resulting from globalization that has been steadily intensified since the turn of the century. The globalization process led to changes, adaptation and resistance in the region. This conference not only aims to draw attention to new socio-economic and cultural changes that emerge in the region but also the articulation between the external forces and the internal factors that lead to new phenomena with the unique ASEAN characteristics. In addition, it will investigate the resistance to new changes in the region. The conference will focus on the following themes.

Format of Presentations: The abstract should not exceed 300 words, while the full paper should be between 10-15 pages (including references, notes, and tables). Biographical data should not exceed 100 words. Your work must be double-spaced and typed using 12 pt. Times New Roman font. All submissions must be written in APA style, i.e., conform to the requirements of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, 6th edition.
